Join Us at Godiva Gives Day!

Over the weekend I tweeted that I will be volunteering at an event coordinated by Godiva Chocolates and Kobsupang Robertson, author of Howard & Chloe Go to Bunnyland.

Here are the details of the event:

Literature for Young Learners

When: Saturday, July 20, 2013 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM EDT
Where: Bryant Park, W 42nd St 6th Ave, New York, NY 10018

We are hosting a small book drive for those who would like to donate new or gently used books for children in need. As of right now, I contacted Queens Public Library: Jackson Heights branch and learned that they would love to take books in good quality, and even donation. I also heard back from Housing Works, and Children Aid NYC, and they would gladly take donations as well.  As a children’s book author who feel very fortunate that I got a lot of support through Kickstarter project and would like to help out and give back to community.
